Secondary education and MBO

KNSTMPPN
KNSTMPPN (art swaps) is an accessible, challenging and social art card game for pupils of all levels and years of secondary education and the upper grades of primary education, where the better you look, associate and argue, the greater your chances of winning. This edition, exclusively developed for CBK Rotterdam, focuses on works from the public space of Rotterdam. The main aim of the game is to let students look at the art from the city that surrounds them every day through different eyes. To play the game, students do not need any prior knowledge of the artworks. The playing level is determined by the players themselves. In addition, skills such as good looking, associating, creative thinking, discussing and arguing are trained while playing the game.

KNSTMPPN is offered as a total package by CBK Rotterdam. The package consists of playing the game under the guidance of a KNSTMPPN expert (at school or in TENT), a tour of art in the public space (center of Rotterdam) and tips for a processing lesson at school. In addition, each participating class is given a game box as a gift, so that the game can be played in class later. KNSTMPPN can be combined with guided tours in TENT. For bookings or more information, contact Germa Roos, education via educatie@cbkrotterdam.nl.

100% Contemporary
100% Contemporary is an educational alliance of Showroom MAMA, TENT and Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, which can be found within a stone's throw of each other in the center of Rotterdam. During 100% Contemporary, students are introduced to contemporary art in the broadest sense of the word. Teachers can compile a program themselves and choose from the various exhibitions and / or workshops. In the workshop, students investigate what type of artist they themselves would be, and then work individually or collectively on a visual work. For more information and bookings: www.100procenthedendaagse.nl of judith@tentrotterdam.nl.

Let yourself be guided around in an enthusiastic and accessible way along all the art stages of Kunstblock in the Witte de Withkwartier. Together they offer a varied program for a wide and diverse audience. More information about dates and prices can be found on the TENT website.

TENT X Tate EXCHANGE

TENT and Tate Modern work together with young people and artists from Rotterdam and London in an intensive exchange project: TENT x Tate Exchange. Here different dimensions of 'exchange' are explored: what does exchange mean in cultural production, and in geographical, urban and institutional frameworks? Participants learn about the practice and work processes of artists, unravel how art finds its way to the public and institutions, and reflect on the role of art in society. The result is presented in TENT and in Tate Exchange, a public space on the sixth floor of the new extension of Tate Modern. TENT x Tate Exchange is part of the TENT program On The Other Side of Reality, supported by The Art Of Impact and Rotterdam Festivals. More information.

TENT is the platform for contemporary art in the context of Rotterdam with exhibitions, new productions, educational projects, performances and events with makers from the city and beyond.
