On the Streets

In 2020 and 2021 On The Streets offers a program of viewing box exhibitions at various locations in Delfshaven. At the invitation of Foundation MESH, the participating artists create location-specific presentations that can be seen entirely from the street and contribute to the street scene both during the day and in the evening. CBK Rotterdam supports the program with work contributions for the Rotterdam artists within the program.

Rotterdam photographer Florian Braakman focuses his images on his immediate environment and the concept of 'the neighborhood', within which he addresses various themes such as cultural diversity and social mobility. At Marconiplein, he will use the windows of two empty retail buildings for a photo presentation that will provide light in the evening.
