Nicola Unger - Transmission - Symmetries in Fate

Nicola Unger presents a video installation at the interface of documentary, animation and dance around genetic and cultural transmission. In her performance, Unger treats the body as a 'container' of histories and the future of generations. What do generations transfer consciously or unconsciously to each other? Do we have control over it ourselves? Or are we just puppets of our DNA?
