ART CENTRAL ROTTERDAM XL – ART WEEKEND

For the first time, more than 32 leading Rotterdam art galleries and institutes are joining forces to organize Art Central Rotterdam XL. on 12 and 13 March 2022 from 12.00:17.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX visitors can immerse themselves, join in and participate in tours of the galleries and exhibition spaces to celebrate and further promote Rotterdam's vibrant visual arts scene as a valuable part of the city. Rotterdam is the cultural breeding ground for contemporary art; the galleries and exhibition spaces show the latest developments in the visual arts.

With a (stamped) map, with an overview of all locations of all participating parties, participants can participate in the organized – free – bicycle tours or create their own route. 20 Stamps can also produce a work of art. Art Central Rotterdam XL is therefore a unique opportunity to experience and discover the flourishing Rotterdam art world.

For example, you can be surprised by the thistle sculptures by Caroline Coolen at NL=US Art, wonder where the animal ends and the human begins in the paintings of Keetje Mans at Cokkie Snoei, you can admire the works of Iris Kensmil which inspired are at the Afro-American emancipation struggle at Kunstinstituut Melly, and Huidenclub has its first presentation moment after the renovation.
