THE NEW CULTURAL SEASON ...

... starts in TENT!

We start on Thursday 27 September with the opening of the solo exhibition Only Weeds Emerge, from the Dutch-Australian artist Pilar Mata Dupont. Friday, September 28, TENT presents a double scoop: the opening of the exhibition Who do you think you are?, composed by the Rotterdam singer-songwriter Sabrina Starke, and the very first showcase of her brand new album Underneath the Surface in Arminius. Sunday, September 30 present Sabrina Starke and it HipHopHuis in TENT the event Beats, Battles & Biographies: an exchange between people, cultures and continents, wrapped in a dance battle. Elsewhere in Rotterdam, too, art is making its mark: there are not only presentations of new projects, but we also take care of ours existing orphan images and old acquaintances. Read everything about the openings and events of the coming weeks in this newsletter.

The Lobby Experience

The debate about the role of lobbyists in public decisions has recently flared up again. The civil service, politics and interest groups sometimes seem to be strongly intertwined. With The Lobby Experience (try-out) artist Eddy Seesing wants us to experience what it is like to have to make decisions within that context.
