With this fund, CBK Rotterdam wants to offer visual artists and artists' initiatives the opportunity to develop, perform and present new work or projects. Rotterdam artists who have received an R&D subsidy in the past three years can take out an interest-free loan from Fonds Kwadraat without additional testing.

The Kwadraat Fund celebrates its 29th anniversary! To celebrate this, they are organizing a special anniversary event on Wednesday, September 11.30 from 13.30 – 25 in the auditorium of the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The meeting focuses on meeting and connection between artists and art lovers / professionals in the art world. 25 artists and 1 art lovers / professionals will speed dating in four rounds of ten minutes. For this anniversary speed date, Fonds Kwadraat is looking for talented artists who graduated 5 to XNUMX years ago and who have received an R&D subsidy from CBK Rotterdam, for example.

Annual overview 2020

The digital Annual Review 2020 of CBK Rotterdam has been published. It reflects a strange and special year in which everything was different from March onwards. Of course we also noticed this in Rotterdam and in the visual arts. Nevertheless, we were able to realize, complete, organise, support, compose and bring to the attention a lot, always with full attention to the artists and the city.
