'SASH' by Ron van der Ende has been placed

It's time: the monumental artwork Sash by Ron van der Ende is placed on the facade of the apartment complex on the corner of Voorschoterlaan and Oudedijk. The project was initiated by the residents' initiative Kunst op de Kop, which has championed a better area design for the area surrounding the Voorschoterlaan metro station in Kralingen. Over the past few weeks, Van der Ende has been busy attaching all individual wooden parts. The artwork is made from local felled wood that has been preserved by firing.

The opening is scheduled for December 17, 2022 with a festive program presented by Ernest van der Kwast.
