New city walk about Erasmus

Everyone knows the name Erasmus, but who was he actually? When did he live, and why is he still so important? Anne Bakker and Bart Oppenheimer recently presented a new city walk in which you can learn everything about the most famous Rotterdammer ever. The route passes important memorials and works of art in the center of Rotterdam. For guidance, there is the road map that delves deeper into these special locations and the life of Desiderius Erasmus, who continued to advocate peace, tolerance and dialogue at the risk of his own life in times of war and division. 

The route map is available for €10 at the store of the Laurenskerk, Boekhandel Donner, Boekhandel Van Gennep, Oosterboekhandel J. Amesz, Het Rotterdams Warenhuis, the bookstore in the Nieuwe Instituut, Boekhandel Maximus, Moonlight Zohal, Voorlopig Rotterdam and Boekhandel Snoek.
