NEW R&D COMMITTEE MEMBER

As of the third R&D round of 2021, Vincent van Velsen will succeed Alexandre Furtado as a new R&D committee member.

Vincent van Velsen (Rotterdam, 1987) is a curator, writer and Curator of Photography at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. He has a background in art and architectural history. Van Velsen is currently contributing editor at Metropolis M. He was previously a resident at the Jan Van Eyck Academy and guest resident at the Rijksakademie. He is also a member of the Amsterdam City Curatorium (SCA) and a board member at De Appel.
