The TAA (TAA) takes place on Friday 15 July at 20.00 in Cinerama. The TAA ceremony is the annual competition for the best final exam films, shorts and animations from all Dutch art academies and from Switzerland. A team of expert scouts will make a selection of the best audiovisual works during the graduation exhibitions. During the screening, the works will be assessed by a jury consisting of prominent figures from the visual arts and film world. This evening they select the winner for the TAA and the Best Foreign Film Award. These winners receive a residence in Switzerland and Rotterdam. During this residency the young artists get the chance to develop further and get to know a different culture.

During the award show, in Cinerama the best audiovisual work from home and abroad displayed on a large screen. In addition to the jury's assessment, the public will also have the opportunity to choose their favorite work, this winner will receive the Public's Choice Award.

The works will then be exhibited for nine weeks in one of the rooms of TENT, the platform for 100% contemporary art in Rotterdam. The TAA acts as a springboard for recently graduated artists who in this way get the chance to show their work to a large and international audience consisting of professional professionals and art and film lovers.
