New Utopians

Rotterdam will be more diverse in 2025 than ever, some say it will be the most diverse city in the Netherlands. What does that mean for the future city; how does Rotterdam shape this transformation? Diversity within diversity is one of the major issues of our time. Where are the challenges and solutions?

On Wednesday 22 June at 20.00 hours the author speak Elfie Tromp, the architect collective Cookies, architect Ania Molenda about the future scenarios of Rotterdam. The evening is led by an independent curator Christine de Baan and theater collective Urland gives a performance. The evening takes place in the context of the group exhibition Utopian Dreams, in which special plans and dreams of artists for Rotterdam have been brought together by Reyn van der Lugt.
