On Sunday 10 January at 14.00 hour, Nicky Assmann takes you through her solo exhibition at TENT. In this free tour Nicky talks about the physiological processes of materials such as copper and soap liquid and how she visualizes these processes in her space-filling installations. In her work she is also a specialist in causing moire patterns, and a master in 'tricking' your perception. What exactly are these moire patterns and how do the science-based topics and techniques in her work relate to contemporary art? While walking, Nicky Assmann tells everything about the background of her installations and what inspires her.
