Lectures Peak Survey / Noordereiland Drawings

Bart Louis werkt of from August 2020 to May 2021 on a large linear chalk drawing that runs across the Noordereiland. He draws on the street, walls, houses, ships and shops, and writes about the process and the people he meets while drawing. The project results in a publication, a performance and a permanent wall drawing. The architectural drawing in The Gallery that continued outside and was extended from there to the North Island marked the beginning of this adventure.

On Wednesday evening 14 October, Jan van der Ploeg, Aimée Terburg and Bart Lodewijks will give a lecture about their work in relation to their participation in the exhibition Peak Survey at Murals Inc. The Gallery. Bart Lodewijks continues the line to the drawing project North Island Drawings where he will be working for the next eight months.
