KNSTMPPN during the Rotterdam UITdagen
What kind of art is on the street in Rotterdam? And when you look at it, what do you actually see? In the cube of CBK R'dam you play the challenging game KNSTMPPN during the Rotterdam UITdagen. And why is that fun?
Because afterwards you look at the city with different eyes and what it contains! KNSTMPPN (Kunstmeppen) is an accessible, challenging and social art card game for children from the age of 12, where the following applies: the better you look, associate and argue, the greater your chances of winning. This edition, exclusively developed for CBK Rotterdam, focuses on works of art from the public space of Rotterdam. The aim of the game is to make you look at the art from the city that surrounds you daily. You don't need any prior knowledge of the artworks to play the game, and the level of play is determined by the players themselves. You do not have to be an art expert, it is all about skills such as looking carefully, associating, thinking creatively, discussing and arguing.
So come play, on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September, between 13: 00 and 17: 00 hours on the Schouwburgplein in Rotterdam.
