Juice Crosxxxsing

During the free Art Night on Friday 22 September the performance will take place at 19.30 hour Juice CrosxxxSing from Geo Wyeth instead. The performance of Geo Wyeth, musician and artist, is based on the figure of the traffic officer. The Lost Tourist transforms into the character of the CrosxxxSing Guard, which is somewhere in the middle and is waiting for the safe crossing of a loved one. The performance is about the meaning of 'crossing over' in history, gender and popular culture and when and how that takes place.

Geo is a multidisciplinary artist from New York and works with music, performance art, installations & video. Geo's work has been shown at the Stedelijk Museum, MoMA PS1, LA MoCA and The New Museum, among others! H / she has done a residency at the Rijksakademie of visual arts in 2015 / 2016 and now lives in Rotterdam.

The performance takes place in the context of the exhibition Among other things, I've taken up smoking.
