Jeroen Bodewits: Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil

exhibition: 26 / 09 / 2020 - 11 / 10 / 2020
Location: Hilton Artlab, Art Lending

The duo expo opened on Saturday 26 September Jeroen Bodewits: Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil, an exhibition that will take place at two locations in Rotterdam until 11 October: het Hilton Art Lab en Kunstuitleen Rotterdam. What is special about this duo exhibition is that all works are for rent and / or for sale. A unique opportunity to acquire a work of art created by visual artist Jeroen Bodewits (2014-1971), who died in 2014.

Bodewits had a great affinity with Russia, the country to which he traveled almost annually from 2005 onwards. The contradictions he found there inspired a large part of his work. Bodewits has proven himself convincingly during his suddenly ended career and has exhibited at home and abroad. His work has been shown at gallery Bob Smit, gallery XX Multiple and gallery Ron Mandos, among others at the KunstRai, Raw Art Fair, Manchester Contemporary and E / AB Fair in New York.

Bodewits' work has been carefully stored for a while and will see the light of day after years. The heirs now feel, after a process of farewell, the strong need to give the work a place where it can be seen again.

The duo expo can be visited for three weeks from September 26 to October 11, 2020. In the Hilton Art Lab from Wednesday - Sunday between 13.00:17.00 pm - 11.00:18.00 pm. In Kunstuitleen Rotterdam from Thursday - Saturday from XNUMX am to XNUMX pm.
