Inverse Me during Museum Night

No balance without contradictions
This wonderful animation film by Nina Markus (with a soundtrack by sound artist Roel Meelkop) will be played continuously during Museum Night010. Inverse Me is a hand-drawn animation film in which the concept of “inverse” is visualized. The main character tries to escape from a black and white world but is trapped in one loop of tunnels. She gains new insights in every tunnel, with which she finds her way into an unknown world.

- To be seen: between 19 p.m. and 00 p.m.
- Duration: 04:49

Nina Markus (Rotterdam, 1993) combines traditional handicraft with digital techniques. Her work is rich in contrast and especially in black and white, yet colorful in the depiction of her personal search for identity.

With Inverse Me Nina Markus won the Carat Lucas Gassel Prize 2019.
