Exhibition: Playground at the Water

On Wednesday 2 September, the exhibition 'Playground at the Water' opens at Paviljoen aan het Water. Throughout the summer, artist Pris Roos collaborated with the artists Rieneke de Vries, Tessa Biemans, George Booij and Zoë Cochia, Mariëlle Verdijk and Reinaart Vanhoe at Speeltuin en Wijkvereniging Tarwewijk.

They went to work together and the visitors to provide this place with energy and imagination again, partly because this place was temporarily closed due to corona. After all, the playground is a public place where local residents come together. It is a space in which conversations and interactions arise between children, parents and volunteers.

Sketches, drawings, video and sound notes are the result of her visits to the Playground. The process can be seen in the Paviljoen aan het Water throughout September.
