Coolstof X V2_: Operation Earnest Voice - Jonas Lund

The 4e project from Coolstof takes place at V2_: Operation Earnest Voice from Jonas Lund. Coolstof is a series of performances performed by five Kunstblock institutions are being realized in the Cool district, around the Witte de Withstraat. Lund's performative installation will take place on Friday 23 February, during the Art Evening in Rotterdam's Kunstkwartier.

Operation Earnest Voice is a performative installation that uses social media to influence public opinion in Rotterdam. The performance takes place both online and offline. A group of performers together form one click farm-like whole and has control over various social media channels. The audience at V2_ witnesses the manipulative power of the collective social media action as they watch over the shoulders of the performers. The performers have the task to draw attention to themselves on these channels and to convince people that they are right. V2_'s project for Coolstof, Operation Earnest Voice is a work by the Swedish artist Jonas Lund who makes critical work on networked systems and technological innovations.

Cool dust
MAMA, TENT Rotterdam, V2_, Witte de With, WORM and CBK Rotterdam have invited various artists to realize projects. Every month from September 2017 to May 2018 there is a surprising performance, intervention or installation in the Cool district. The project takes place under the name Coolstof. The art evening takes place every Friday evening in the Rotterdam Art Quarter. The five Kunstblock settings can then be visited free of charge between 18.00 and 21.00 hours. At 19: 00 hour a free tour of all 5 institutions starts, this tour departs from the counter of TENT and Witte de With (Witte de Withstraat 50).
