Which forces set the present in motion towards the future? What obstacles do we encounter when trying to form a picture of the future? Or is 'the future' an outdated concept that needs to be reviewed? In the context of Futurosity, a year-long project by Kunstblock in collaboration with artist and writer Douglas coupland, set the two-day period Futurosity Summit sharpen our relationship to the concept of the future.

De Summit is the focal point of it Futurosity project - part of Rotterdam is celebrating the city! - and offers a two-day program. The program starts on 18 May with a special edition of the tour: The Coolsingel as a Monument: A tour guide from Sculpture International Rotterdam (SIR) gives a tour of the most striking examples of art, architecture and applied art that adorn the Coolsingel and offers a glimpse into the past, present and future of this important avenue.
