Book presentation: 'Northern Island drawings' by Bart Lodewijks

The book presentation of . will take place at Aunt Nino on May 1, from 15.00:17.00 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM North Island Drawings Place. In this publication Bart Lodewijks documented the past two years in which he made chalk drawings on the Noordereiland. During this afternoon, filmmaker Griet Teck shows film fragments and Bart Lodewijks tells about his experiences on the special Noordereiland in the form of a performance. The first copy is handed over to Marjolijn van der Meijden, BKOR project leader.

At the invitation of Murals Inc. Bart Lodewijks worked on large chalk drawings at various locations on the Noordereiland between 2020 and 2021. He drew on the streets, walls, houses, ships and shops, and wrote about the process and the people he met while drawing.
