Avenue Concordia

Arte Concordia

The 12e edition of the Arte Concordia will open on September 3. Up to and including October 11 one of the most beautiful avenues in Rotterdam will be the stage for fourteen sculptures and forty-five specially designed flags by so many artists. Arte Concordia has been made possible with financial support from CBK Rotterdam.

Arte Concordia 2015 - with the title 'De Tuilerieën' - turns the avenue into a magnificent sculpture park, full of festive beauty, but not without questions and challenges. This year the entire avenue from Oostzeedijk to Oudedijk is used, which offers the possibility to create 'halls' with their own character.

Until 11 October 2015 you can enjoy 14 large images of mostly Rotterdam artists on the central reservation. In addition, the façades are fluttering with 45 flags from just as many artists.

The images are made by:
Boris van Berkum, Rob Birza, Stefan Gross, Jacob, Robin Kolleman, Albert Kramer, Wilco Kwerreveld, Olaf Mooij, Onno Poiesz, Frank Sciarone, Belinda Tijssen, Zeger Reyers, Koen de Vries and Ben Zegers.

The following artists designed the flags:
Karin Arink, Marjolijn van den Assem, Ben Augustus, Geert Baas, Boris van Berkum, Jean-marie Bytebier, Lisa Couwenbergh, Anuli Croon, Hein Dingemans, Thea van Doorn, Hadassah Emmerich, Lizan Freijsen, Bert Frings, Eric Jan van de Geer , Tobias Gerber, Christie van der Haak, Milou van Ham, Bernadet ten Hove, Jacob, Maarten Janssen, Nour Eddine Jarram, John Kegreisz, Wendell Kerwhen, Ditty Ketting, Ton van Kints, Peter Koole, Ton Kraayeveld, Line Kramer, Gabriëlle van de Laak, Ton Mars, Marc Mulders, Mai van Oers, Serge Onnen, Sef Peeters, Jochem Rotteveel, Charlotte Schleiffert, Sebastiaan Schlicher, Simon Schrikker, Roland Sohier, Stang, Koen Taselaar, Edward Teeuw, Reinoud van Vught and Maarten Wending.
