Jazz from R'JAM - new album now available

On 20 October a new jazz album was presented in Rotown by presenter and program maker of RTV Rijnmond Roland Vonk. The album contains songs from legendary Rotterdam jazz celebrities. The LP Jazz from R'JAM was compiled by Vonk and was published by CBK Rotterdam. The first copy was handed out to Rob Maas and the 90-year-old, oldest Jazz Disc Jockey in the Netherlands, Dick A. van den Berg. The album is available at the better Rotterdam record store.

The LP was presented as part of the Comic and Jazz Route Rotterdam Jazz Artists Memorial - R'JAM. This route is an initiative of R'JAM, in collaboration with BKOR. The portraits together form a 'jazzy' route along one of the most Rotterdam streets, as a memorial to an important Rotterdam music history.
