Investment contribution: Van De Kozmoz
Stars are poetry. Over the years they have amazed writers, poets and many other individuals in the world. They confront us with the immeasurable scope of the universe. Stars live, their light glistens in the sky. The sparkles are sweet from afar, but in fact stars are masses of fire with large bursts of energy, in the form of fire. They are dynamic, impressive and know how to enchant us.
In the dark winter days we bring the light, the energy and the poetry of the star to the central station. For the dark winter days we have devised a completely new (light) work of art with the starry sky as inspiration. We bring the central hall to life with an abstraction of the starry sky. It is a dynamic field: reflections, shadows and light fill the space. With this we create an impact that is unique, dynamic and impressive.
In December 2016 an artwork by Eddy Kaijser (Studio ID Eddy & WORKSHOP IV) can be seen in the hall of Rotterdam CS. The work, an abstraction of the starry sky, brings reflections, shadows and light effects to life during the winter period and can be seen from December 2016 to the first week of January 2017. 'Van De Kozmoz' was made possible by the Dutch Railways and an investment contribution from CBK Rotterdam.
