R&D honored

In the second round of the 2016 R&D scheme, applications were accepted in 18 for a total amount of € 101.575. For this round, a total amount of € 43 was requested through 292.834,88 applications. Each approved application receives a contribution that enables the visual artist to further develop his professional practice. The Development and Research Grants scheme is aimed at boosting research and deepening, so that existing artistic practices can develop optimally and increase their visibility in the city.

The deadline for the third (and last) round of this year is 9 September. Office hours take place on 30 and 31 August. More information

The project Self-perpetuating Story is an investigation into the extent to which human behavior can be controlled and influenced. It is being investigated how a system can be designed that can respond to human behavior in a social and intuitive way.
