R&D honored

In the first round of the 2015 R&D scheme, a total of 14 applications were accepted for a total amount of € 98.535. For this round, a total amount of € 42 was requested through 269.068,40 applications.

Each approved application receives a contribution that enables the visual artist to further develop his professional practice. The Development and Research Grants scheme is aimed at boosting research and deepening, so that existing artistic practices can develop optimally and increase their visibility in the city.

Nature as a dead body: research into the relationship between the theory of craftsmanship and technology. This is followed by a performance and new work for the Kyoto Print Triennial in 2016. More information about the artist

Analog Sun Tracker, following the 24 hour of the sun at the North Pole, in order to complete the development of a series of sun shots on different points of view on earth (previously in Shanghai and Rotterdam) and to present them in Museum Boijmans van Beuningen. More information about the artist
