New financing arrangements

Since January 2014, the CBK Rotterdam has offered two new financing options for artists from Rotterdam: the Investment Contributions Regulation and CBFonds Kwadraat.

Investment Contributions Regulation
This contribution concerns additional financing (artists' fees) for projects that are important for the city of Rotterdam and for which there is an external client and external financing for the realization of the project.

CBK Fonds Kwadraat
Visual artists from Rotterdam (registered at CBK Rotterdam) and artists' initiatives from Rotterdam can submit an application via Fonds Kwadraat with a maximum of 6.000 euros. The loans are intended for the development, creation and presentation of new work or a project. For example, loans are provided for an exhibition or presentation of new work at home and abroad, a prototype or project or, for example, an artist's book.
