Arbor Morgana Trompenburg
Last Thursday 2 August the opening of the installation Arbor Morgana Trompenburg by artist Egied Simons took place in Trompenburg in the heart of Kralingen, on the Honingerdijk 86 in Rotterdam.
Together with volunteers and with the support of the CBK Rotterdam, Simons has built a number of works of art in Trompenburg Gardens & Arboretum, based on the principle of the Camera Obscura. The environment is projected within the spaces, with an infinite resolution and real-time. External factors such as wind and rain enhance the experience.
Hein van Haaren, art historian and former director of the Willem de Kooning Academy, opened the installation.
